Left home today all loaded up with two dogs in tow and trailer packed. Our goal is our boondocking site off of Gunner Pool in Arkansas. We were hoping to get water at Blanchard Springs but this was closed off.

The Rainbow Cafe in Mountain View Arkansas is the best place for fried grits. It doesn’t get any better. We passed our favorite property on the way to Mountain View. If only we purchased all of those acres for the low price. 🙁
December 10th, 2020
Off to Rainbow Cafe again. Our goal was to make it to Tyler but this did not happen. We stayed outside of Hot Springs at J and J’s Rv The worst experience in my life happened here. The black valve was not closed and when I went to hook up….sewage came at me so fast. It was a movie nightmare. Funny on the movies…not funny in life. I had to shovel pine needles and crap into a garbage bag. At this point I was done with rv-ing.

Went to downtown Houston to the Koloches place. We visited Galveston and the dogs played on the beach. Lila is a little prissy and doesn’t like touching the water.
We had a great time shopping at Cavenders. Yes…I got cowboy boots.
We stopped at Ulta and ate at a BBQ place.
December 13th, 2020
We stopped at Eric’s smokehouse and bought all of their bacon. YUM. We are now headed to South Padre Island. It was so windy and dark when we got there. There was a nice spot for dogs to walk and play.

Did laundry and taught this morning. We at a nice seafood restaurant that we could walk to.
December 15th, 2020
We ate on the Pier of the KOA. I taught class and did laundry. We went into town and saw Brownsville. We bought fresh shrimp and di da shrimp boil. Fabulous.

Off to Corpus Christi we go. Mustang Island. It is about 2.5 hours away. I liked this campground. The bathrooms and showers are nice. We got to walk on beach and the dogs played.

Played on beach. Eric practiced taking pics. Mustang Island was a great campground.
December 20th, 2020
Off to Franklin Mountain. This felt familiar and my anxiety was better. For first night we just parked in parking lot. The people of this campground are very nice.
December 21st, 2020
Off to get our covid test at 301 George Perry in El Paso. Note: no pets allowed. We had to hide Lila and Monger. We made it through though.
Mongie and I went for a walk and had a run in with a coyote. Yikes. I grabbed Monger and ran.

Mogie and I tried to walk to aztec cave. Didn’t make it this year. I was too worn out. We smoked some ribs and watched cheesy x-mas movie.

Left for Tuscan and going to stay at Gilbert Rays. I don’t like the holes in the campground because I think these are tarantula holes. Anxiety high here at this campsite. You can tell the Californians because they are walking outside with their masks on. Most people don’t do this because you are in fresh air and seperated from each other. Went to see Barbara. She made her meatloaf. We stopped by EEGEEs on the way home. Yum.

Eric made meal today for Barabara, me and Barbara’s two friends. It was prime rib and excellent. I did laundry and helped Barbara clean.

Merry Christmas. We opened Helen and Jim’s gifts they got us. It doesn’t feel like Christmas without snow. We are going to Barbara’s. Eric is making her soup.

Eric is correct. Baja’s is the best breakfast place ever. Oh my goodness. So good. We left for Tonto and ate at in and out burger. Tonto is beautiful. Totally amazing. There is a perfect shooting spot at Eric’s favorite site.

Went to breakfast at Apache Junction and looked around at houses. Worked on my aim win shooting with my new Mantis thing. We had another shrimp boil. We went to the lookout area at Tonto.

Would have liked to stay longer at Tonto. We left and went to Lake Pleasant. We ate at Polo Loco.

Didn’t see any donkeys at our campsite. During the sunrise there were 14 hot air balloons. We are going to cowtown to shoot and then to Black Canyon, Anthem, etc. to explore houses. At our campfire we saw donkey.

Drove to Strawberry, Camp Verde, Pine, Payson. Love it there. WE ate at bar restaurant. Drove back to Lake pleasant.

Went to boondock at outside of Strawberry. Great site. We ate at pizza place. We had clam pizza.

Did laundry in Payson. Drove back to Lake Pleasant but they are not allowing boonddocking on shore We stayed in BLM land,

Flew home from Phoenix. Layover in Denver. Parentals Picked me up.
